end-of-summer pizza (a few days too late)

Crush a clove of garlic and sauté in olive oil, then baste crust of choice with oil and crushed, cooked garlic. I used Iggy’s pre made pizza rounds today (white flour, bad Fiona!) Layer with thinly sliced nectarine, heirloom tomato, prociutto, and fresh mozzarella. Sprinkle with shredded basil and fresh ground pepper.

before

Bake at whatever temperature/time combination you find works best for pizza, and your desired results for crispiness.

during

Remove from oven. Smile. Gaze at it while it cools. Cut into pieces of a size that suits you. Maybe try a piece, maybe save it for later. Most definitely take its picture.

after

(Eat a slice cold from the refrigerator at 10:30 PM while you edit photos. Blog about how it tastes good cold too.)

Yum! I’m going to try this… and the eggs with asparagus too. Yea, healthy recipies! :) I thought of you and eating Pluck U the other day, by the way. It was the cheese fries on the menu that made me think of it. We’ve come a long way!

Oh my, I remember Pluck You. Those were the days… the terrible, disgusting days.
